WHISTLEBLOWING INTRODUCTION


FAR Rubinetterie S.p.A. is committed to operating in an ethical and responsible manner and asks its stakeholders, such as directors, managers, supervisory bodies, employees and other collaborators, and all its partners, to operate in full compliance with Laws and Regulations, Code of Ethics and Human Rights.

The Company strongly encourages its stakeholders to report (so-called whistleblowing) any improper, dishonest or illegal activity - potential, highly probable or already committed - as well as any conduct that may cause damage or harm, including image damage, to FAR Rubinetterie S.p.A.

For this purpose, FAR Rubinetterie S.p.A. adopted specific rules and a management process in compliance with the 'Whistleblowing' regulation (Italian Legislative Decree 24/2023) in order to provide potential whistleblowers with safe channels that guarantee the confidentiality of their identity and the information contained in the report and their protection from possible retaliation.

Reports concerning personal interests of the reporter, claims or grievances of personal or commercial nature, claims or requests that fall within the discipline of the employment relationship are excluded from the application scope of the legislation. In the event of unfounded reports, made in bad faith or with gross negligence, FAR Rubinetterie S.p.A. reserves the right to act to defend its interests and protect injured parties.



WHISTLEBLOWING MANAGEMENT


FAR Rubinetterie S.p.A. has appointed a Committee of external experts in whistleblowing regulations, organizational models pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01 and management systems, industrial relations and labor law, with characteristics of autonomy, impartiality and independence, for the management of whistleblowing reports. with respect to processes that could be the subject of reports. FAR Rubinetterie S.p.A. provides an external digital platform, managed by a specialised third party, in order to ensure the effectiveness and confidentiality of the whistleblowing process and provide broad and indiscriminate access to all those who wish to make a report. The Company encourages whistleblowers to give priority to identified reports, in order to streamline and make investigations more effective, whether anonymous reports are equally accepted.

In order to ensure the effectiveness of the whistleblowing process and provide broad and indiscriminate access to all those who wish to make a report, it has made available a number of alternative communication channels, such as:

  • Oral reporting to the Committee (upon request for a face-to-face meeting through the platform or by sending an email with reading confirmation to:

    It is possible to attach voice files, without textual content, to the dedicated email address. Through the platform it is possible to upload a file with a voice message, without textual content. Use the 'Voice Recorder' feature available on every mobile device.

  • Monitoring of the functionality of the above-mentioned communication channels is ensured by the Whistleblowing Committee, which must be contacted in the event of any malfunctioning.
